    About Me

     I love trying different food from around the world. The different flavours from spices and how people can manipulate them for their own unique recipes and combinations of flavour for a new dish still amazes me.

    I am still striving to accomplish this feat, and am slowly getting there, with the help of other people.

    I think this is why I enjoy going on vacation (although too seldom) to different area's of the world.

    I really enjoy the people and their different cultures, food, and life styles.

    I enjoy talking to these amazing people from different areas from around the world and hear how they live in this great and complex world we live in (It is amazing how lucky most of us are). 

    These peope have great life stories from these areas which most off us will never experience. (We see such a small segment of life).

    I strive to start my own recipes as basic recipes and build on them every time I try them, as I find with just small changes can be great recipes. Some times to many flavours will conflict.

    I have found by going through recipes on this web site that, you learn more by peoples experiences and techniques of doing certain proceedures they know than the recipes them selves.

    These are more important than the ingrediants alot of the times. Learn from true, tried and experienced cooks out there, alot are handed down through generations.

    I love food period,.... with great flavour, that is my down fall.

    I try to keep my weight where I want it by eating low calorie food, but it is hard at times to find good recipes that are low cal. that taste good. 

    Recipes are few and far between that are LOW CAL. with great flavour and are ..."FILLING".... (VERY hard to find)....


    I keep looking and will post.....
