    "I was looking for a nice oatmeal cake recipe and decided to try this one. It is very good. I made a few changes. I did not add the chocolate chips. Instead, I frosted this cake with a simple chocolate/coffee frosting. I also subsitituted 3/4 cup of white flour with 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. It came out quite lovely......try it!!!!"

    "After having concerns about what the texture of the cornmeal would taste like in these cookies, I read many reviews on the Food Network website where the recipe is posted. Many people who posted reviews did not like the cornmeal in the cookies so I opted to take it out. Instead, I added 1/2 cup of butter for a more "traditional" biscotti----not ..."

    "Delicious!!!! The only thing I changed (for simplification was to throw everything including the basil into the cuisinart to blend it all together. I then substituted olive oil for the vegetable oil as I think olive oil and basil are meant to be together. But the flavours are outstanding together. Try this tonight, you won't be disappointed!"
