    About Me

I am married to a incredible man who can still make me laugh and cooks 10 times better than I do (one of our biggest fights is whos cooking dinner) Laughing.  We have 4 kids who are some of the pickiest eaters on the planet so alot of the recipees that I find here are for me and hubby only..LOL

I'm a nurse so I have it drilled in my head about the importance of a healthy diet but I was born and raised in the Midwest so needless to say I like "stick to your ribs" kind of food.  I love it when my house smells like cookies or a cake is in the oven.

I like to get into these streaks of making completely from scratch, especially baked goods.  A special thanks to Pat McManus for his cook book-I have used it to practically shreds.  If you don't know who Pat McManus is you are sooo missing out....anyone up for Whatchagot Stew?

    Favorite Foods

I love mashed potatoes-don't ask why.  I've been told by my someone's who name I will not mention that I make fried chicken better than my someone else's name who I will not mention here, just in case she reads it....LOL.

I love to cook but my husband is the experimentor.  He really doesn't use recipees (which I can't stand) he is one of those people that throws things together and it tastes wonderful, then when you ask him to make it again he can't remember how he did it.  Pen and paper honey, its not hardWink
