"This is the best, most flavorful falafel I've made. My husband could not stop asking me if I made it, from scratch?! Didn't crumble when fried, nice texture and the added onion really made them a lot more creamy inside than other recipes. Thank you, thank you, Sam-I-am. I do so like homemade falafel."

"Excellent recipe! Easy to make and not gritty. I used superfine sugar (regular granulated sugar processed in cuisinart for 2 min just to be sure it wasn't gritty. Used on an irish fruitcake and it was perfect. Thanks for sharing!"

"Recipe doesn't tell when or how to add butter. The taste is ok, but a bit like undercooked dough. Pale in color, but it could be that you're supposed to brush the butter on (I mixed it in. The worst part is that when the baby starts eating, it breaks apart into big chunks you then have to fish out before they choke. All in all, not a bad conc..."

"Excellent recipe. Made a vegetarian and lighter version (1/2 & 1/2 bechemel and didn't have enough basil nor did I have the stravecchio, but very very good. Served with grilled pork steaks for the rest of the family. Will definately be trying again when I have the proper amount of basil and cheese."

"I can't say how good this is as I haven't tried it yet. I was just looking for a low fat quiche recipe to give this hint. Instead of a pie crust for your favorite quiche recipe, use wheat germ. Just gease the pan (heavily and coat with toasted or raw wheat germ. Just be careful not to disturb the coating when you add the filling. I like toa..."

"Excellent! Better than takeout. This recipe was the least acidic I have tried. I modified the technique by adding salt to the boiling water and then adding the cooked bulghar to the lemon juice and olive oil to absorb more flavor before adding all the other ingredients. One clove of garlic was pretty strong for me (but then I don't like garlic..."

"The mixture of this recipe was very soft and loose. It didn't form patties too well and the cooked ones were crumbly and dry. I gave 3 stars instead of 2 as I think my Trader Joe's garbanzo beans were a big part of the problem. They were really gross - don't buy them! Try this only if you have very good quality canned beans!"

"Excellent recipe! I made this for a church social and it was a big hit. It is a fairly easy recipe and also forgiving of modest changes such as using whole, unblanched almonds and a 10" springform pan. I didn't have "italian" plums either, so I used small, tart yellow and purple plums. I'm sure it would work with any kind."

"I've been making this for breakfast for years! It would be a danish, if a danish were healthy. But either way, it is a very healthy and tasty breakfast if you use whole wheat bread as I do."

"Excellent, light summery risotto! The lemon zest and mint combination is very good. Husband said it was the "best ever" even though I didn't have asparagus or zuchini and used green pepper instead. It appears as though you could use whatever you have leftover in the fridge for vegetables and it'll still work."
