Reviewed Cranberry, Feta and Walnut Salad
    Handle
     |  By Graybert

"This is an absolutely wonderful salad that I've prepared several times! I did make a few changes. Instead of cranberries, I use a mix of dried berries (cranberries, blueberries, cherries, etc. I accidentally read 'balsamic vinegar' as 'balsamic vinaigrette', so I made that substitution at first. I actually prefer the dressing with the vinaigr..."

"Excellent! I love this egg substitute and use it often. I don't boil the mixture, however. I add the flax meal to a small bowl, add very hot tap water and stir. I let the mix sit for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When I bake I usually do this first so when I need a "flax egg," it's ready to go. I have used this substitute successf..."

"This dish was excellent and flavorful. I did, however, made a few changes. I added 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger and couple pinches cayenne pepper to the tofu marinade. I also added four ounces water chestnuts in with the green onions. I think extra-firm tofu might be better given it will be sauteed. There seemed to be just a bit too much rice. Cutti..."

    Reviewed Banana Milk

"Excellent! I omitted the vanilla, used soymilk, six cubes of ice and a tablespoon of flaxmeal to make this delicious drink. I shared with my toddler, and he loved it! The ice thickened the banana milk and moved it into smoothie staus. This is now in regular rotation at our house. My toddler can't get enough of it!"

"Yum! This stuff is great. My toddler loves it as well. We use it as a dip for carrot and celery sticks. I use soymilk and low-fat cream cheese. I've already made it several times, it's heavenly. Thanks for the recipe idea!"

    Reviewed Curried Egg Salad
    Handle
     |  By KosherCook

"This is a pretty tasty egg salad. If you're a fan of curry, this salad is for you. I added an extra egg and used 2 tbsp walnuts in place of the pecans with good results. I also added some cilantro, but I would not do so again because it didn't go well with the dish. KosherCook didn't mention when hard-boiling eggs, you should start with cold water..."

"I was in a pinch with some extra celery on hand and decided to give this recipe a try. It turned out pretty well. If someone were to make this, I would say they should probably enjoy celery. Its flavor is definitely there. It's an interesting taste that takes a few bites getting used to. After those first few bites, I found myself going back for s..."

"This recipe is excellent. It doesn't require boiling a can of S.C. milk, as many others do. It even takes less time than those recipes. I did not have any problems with Lebovitz's oven method. As per the recipe, I DID NOT stir the S.C. milk until it was done. Maybe stirring was ~Rita~'s problem? I doubled this recipe, using two cans of S.C. mil..."

"These were sinfully delicious. I used a raspberry jam and mini-chocolate-chip combination that was to die for. I think some dried/fresh fruit or maybe some Recipe#260051 (caramel sauce would be nice inside these as well (as an addition to the chocolate."

"My toddler enjoyed this snack cut into bite-sized pieces. I used whole-wheat tortillas to sneak in a serving of whole grains. As suggested by Juju Bee, I cooked the tortillas on the stove and they came out nicely. This snack pairs well with a banana."
