    About Me

I grew up primarily in N. Indiana, but have since moved around Illinois, Virginia, and now Pennsylvania.

While living in a previous residence I was able to participate at a casual cooking school that introduced me to many different cuisines. It was an interesting experience working with professional chefs/cooks who specialized in different cooking styles/ethnic cuisines.

    Favorite Foods

I really enjoy authentic Mexican and Chinese cuisine as well as well prepared pasta dishes. I am not as fond of traditional "meat and potato" type meals where one has servings of individual items, rather I prefer things such as casserole, story-fry, soup/stew, etc. where most or all of the meal is melded into a single dish.

My favorite chain restaurants are Chevy's (alas I no longer live near them), Olive Garden, and Chipotle.
