I am a wife to an adorable husband, a mom to one 13 year old son, and vice principal to 900 lovely teenagers. In my spare time I create original jewelry, stained glass, finish home improvement projects AND cook! After a hard day at work I love to come home, create a wonderful meal and sit down with my family to share our day. Cooking is my way of taking a step back to remember the simple things. It's all about combinations...combinations of flavors and textures. Somewhat like life only on a much smaller scale. My highlight of the day is sitting down over a delightful, interesting meal and playing..."What was the worst part about your day? What was the best part?" It's reconnecting and it's sharing life with the ones I love. The fact that it is done over food makes the food a special part of the process. Sit down, linger, enjoy and learn. Favorite foods....too complex. Depends upon the mood, the desire and the ingredients on hand.
