    "We used this brine on a 15 lb turkey. It worked out OK but I really couldn't distinguish the taste of the brown sugar and garlic. I cut the recipe in half and placed the turkey in a cooking bag to sit for 2 days. I also found that when using a brine, the turkey cooked alot faster...so next time, I will cut my cooking time down by at least 30 mi..."

    "I am not going to rate this as I did make some significant changes! I cut the recipe in half as it was just DH and myself. I only used 3 T butter...left out the parsley (because DH hates it and used 2 T capers. As I had 2 small salmon fillets, these turned out a little over cooked...probably around the 12 to 15 minute mark would have been bett..."
