Up until a year ago, I worked over 4000ft underground as a hard rock miner. I was everything you wouldnt expect of a woman, I fished, hunted, and was pretty much allergic to the kitchen. Then... we went on strike, and I ended up with a lot of time on my hands. I started to teach myself to cook, and next thing I knew, I was spending hours inventing recipes, never making the same thing twice. Then I created my blog http://caseoftheaccidentalhomemaker.blogspot.com
Next thing I knew, I was being featured in our local newspaper... pretty exciting for someone who up to a year ago burnt soup.
