"I don't like to buy short ribs, because I don't like paying for bones &/or fat...especially at today's meat price$. So I used boneless chuck steak, cut into wide chunks. I too, cooked these in the oven at 300 after I had browned them. The meat was VERY tender, but I thought the sauce was a little bland. Will make again, but will kick the sauce up ..."

"I can plainly see why your husband loves this recipe!!! I made this for supper tonite & it was fork tender & VERY flavorful!!! I didn't have any dry french onion soup mix, so I used a dry brown gravy mix instead & I didn't have any mushrooms, either. None the less, I will most definately make this again!!! "WOW....was this ever tasty!!! E-Z to make & a little messy, but well worth it!!! I'll bet this would be excellant on baked fish, too!!! I used reduced fat mayo made with olive oil....forgot the garlic powder, but that's OK 'cause we're not big on garlic. THANKS so much for sharing...will DEFINATELY be making this again!!!"

"I give one star for the idea & one for taste....other than that, I was pretty disappointed. It took an extra 10 minutes for the eggs to set & even after spraying the cupcake pan with PAM it was a pain to clean. Doubt if I'll make this again....sorry. THANKS anyway."
