"I used a pound and a half of tomatillos instead of one, simply because I grabbed too much. Also, I cut the tomatillos in half and roasted at 500 degrees for about seven minutes instead of leaving them raw. Otherwise, followed recipe exactly, using two of the chipotles and only the cilantro instead of the three herb combo. AMAZING. Absolutely a..."

"YUM! Haven't tried a custard style ice cream until this one, but after reading many indications that it created a silkier ice cream, I decided to try this. SO GLAD I DID! Used Ghiradeli 60% bittersweet chips and a little more milk (maybe a half cup or so"

"YUMMMMY!!!!Used exact measurements and had no problems. Made somewhate smaller pretzels and ended up with a bunch! Baked for seven minutes and they turned out perfect! I took a tip from many other reviews and made my ropes as thin as possible before twisting, and took the time to dip in the warm salt bath. Well worth the effort!!!"

"One of my favorite meals!! I made this originally after seeing it in TOH, but when I saw it on here I just had to add my thumbs up. I like to use fresh portabella or "porteenie" mushrooms instead of the canned, but other than that, it is fantastic as-is!"

"AMAZING! My husband called it an "instant favorite". The only change I made to the original recipe was to thicken the sauce at the end with cornstarch, which is really saying something since I change just about every recipe I use as I'm making it. KUDOS!!!"
