    "Easy to follow recipe.Only i didnt get nearly as many cookies, only got 30 cookies from my batch, so i was rather worried at per cookie they would be a little too many calories and fat by the look of the butter used in shortbread generally. I would probably try to reduce the butter to 3/4 cup and add 1 egg yolk and see how well that goes. Also to..."

    "I didnt use a bread machine. But this is a good basic recipe to start from. I added 1 tsp of sugar. Baked 45 mins at 390F instead. Glazed with some milk and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Also added a small pan of water at bottom of oven to make the bread more crisp on the outside."
