I am 27 years old and a 6 year US Navy Veteran. Through my travels with the Navy I have grown to LOVE all kinds of ethnic foods. Being that it is so hard to find authentic ethnic foods in restaurants, (with the help of Recipe Zaar) I have learned to cook many of my favorites at home: Traditional Philipino Pork Adobo, Argentinean Empanadas, No-Imu Kalua Pig, and many more! Now on any day I can choose to escape to any far away land that I choose (At least at dinnertime.).
I am currently in school graduating in February 2010 as Tennessee State Board Certified Esthetician, I am also working on an associates degree in business management and plan on opening my own day spa.
Traditional Philipino Pork Adobo served over sticky white rice, Argentinean Empanadas with ground beef, potatoes, green olives, and spices, No-Imu Kalua Pig seasoned with hawiian sea salt and ti leaves, Chicken Enchilada Soup, Fish Tacos with fresh raw cabbage pico di gallo and lime, Italian Spaghetti, Pumpkin Soup, Sweet Potato Soup, My Mother-in-Law's Thanksgiving Gravy, Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff, Onion Stuffed Meatloaf, Stuffed Green Peppers, Hamburgers with fried egg over medium, etc... Too many to list!
