"Souper!I didn't have celery and I forgot the cider vinegar. I didn't have lentils but used the same quantity of store-bought 'soup mix' - barley, lentils, tiny pasta etc, no flavouring. "Wonderful! I used waxy baby potatoes for this and cooked them until only just-just done - I made the whole recipe the day before and re-heated it today. Wasn't sure yesterday - when I added the cider vinegar my eyes watered! And as I don't usually use much salt, it tasted like I'd over-salted it. No!
