    About Me

I enjoy cooking so much, although that was not always the case! When I was first married, my DH spent most of our first year complimenting me on my meals while trying to choke down each bite. *grin* Amoung my most notorious flops were "salty blueberry pies", chocolate pudding cake that tasted like (in my brothers words) "shrimp and hardboiled eggs", and a turkey that was so over cooked it was like turkey jerky. (Don't worry, I won't post that recipe!) Somewhere along the line, the succeses started to outweight the failures. Whew! As they say... "If at first you don't suceed, keep trying before you poison your friends and family! :) I just love this recipe site! I visit it almost every day because I am now a wonderful cook with an addiction to great recipes! Cheers!
