I'm a graduate student in physical anthropology, and love to cook in my spare time. I make a lot of ice cream and sorbets, living in Phoenix where it is over 110 degrees F during the summer. I also like to bake, which is not so good for a Phoenix summer! The recipes I usually make are simple. However, my boyfriend loves to make the most complicated recipes possible. At that point I leave the kitchen :)
My favorite foods are bread and cheese, ice cream, sweet potatoes, broccoli, tropical fruits, and my mom's baking. I love spices, especially cardamom and saffron.
