    About Me

    I'm currently a stay-at-home wife and mom of three. I enjoy cooking and eating seasonal foods, baking breads, gardening, homesteading, blogging, homeschooling, and reading. Currently I am learning to make artisan breads from whole grains. We have 10 chickens (great eggs!) and a small seasonal garden including herbs.

    Favorite Foods

    Green salads, smoothies, Mediterranean foods, good cheeses, wonderful breads, fresh fruits and veggies, pinot grigio, and an occasional medium-rare steak!

    I only cook from scratch, making healthy meals that are mostly organic. My favorite way is to cook straight from the garden, but most weeks I get produce from local farmers.

    My favorite meal consists of chilled yogurt-cucumber soup, greek marinated shish k-bobs, Mediterranean couscous with feta cheese, grilled vegetables with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and served with a glass of pinot grigio. Simple, healthy, and wonderful!
