I'm a graphic designer and I feel cooking and baking are an expression of my creativity. I prefer starting with quality ingredients and I look for recipes that have a little something special about them. I'm not a big fan of "a can of this, a can of that" kind of recipe. I think the extra effort is worth it. But sometimes... "a can of this and a can of that" is just what the people want. (Green Bean Casserole!) I've been a member for years and love reading the reviews to form my own opinion.
I'm kind of famous for Chicken Cordon Bleu, which I have made many times, many variations off this site. People are always impressed. Someday I'll merge all my favorites and post it.
