"Wonderful! I made it with out chicken and just a bit of "better than bullion." Omitted parsnip as I used a parsnip in a soup yesterday and didn't want to dig up another from the garden yet. Added about 5 leaves of fresh sage and left out the dill. Also, put the hand blender in after it had cooked and pureed enough of it to make a creamy sauce with..."

"I have to agree that the quantity of oil seemed a bit much so I didn't do it that way. I had no cabbage, was looking for a salad to use up my romaine. I marinated the avocado and veggies in the oil with some red wine vinegar as well; then scooped them out of the oil and tossed with the romaine. My son suggested that I add a chopped up orange - gre..."

"I tried this as I ran out of my packaged stir fry sauce for beef & broccoli. Turned out great. It is more of a base for a sauce, I'm not real familiar with what other spices to add to pep it up a bit. But it was really good and I'm not going to spend money on the packaged stuff anymore. I did find that I ended up adding almost another 2 cups of wa..."

"This is two recipes, so it is rather hard to rate. I made the quiche recipe. I used 4 slices of bread and 3/4 C milk and 1 lb turkey sausage in an 8x8 pan. Also used 4 oz shredded cheddar. The crusts from the bread made about 2 cups. I also sprinkled parmesan cheese on top. It was a good, quick, meal. Not the greatest for flavor. But I'll definate..."

"This was really yummy! I used 1/4 cup butter as 1/2 seemed a little much and it didn't seem to make any difference - the sauce still thickened up just fine. I forgot to butter the casserole dish and that didn't matter either - it didn't stick. I did not have parmesan and sprinkled shredded romano on top which made a nice golden top. And, I didn'..."
