"Instead of buying the sugar intense commercial eggnog I made Recipe #78103 and with the addition of some rum extract it was quite tasty! I love the coffee and it just puts you right into the holiday mood!. It's not difficult to make and so worth the small bit of extra time. I used Splenda with no problem at all. Sharon, thanks hon for this one!"
"In rating this I took into consideration the extreme ease of preparation as well as the flavor outcome. Both got a 5. You just cannot get any easier and the ingredient combo really delivered on the flavor. Served as a side to pan grilled chicken breast and a blend of stir fry cut veggies. Yumm. Made for PAC, Fall '09."
"I was expecting this to be tasty but it was even more yummy that I had thought. I didn't use the red pepper as I found it past the point of appealing and continued without it. I did cut the beans as ask but the chicken was in larger pieces. The sauce, though simple, was delicious and this doesn't take all day to make. I will most certainly make th..."
"Wow, I tagged this in Photo Tag largely out of curiosity and was rewarded with a real delight. This is, for me, a brand new take on fish. I would not have thought of mixing the the waldorf salad;ad basics with stuffing to begin with and add that to using it as a fish topping!! It's slightly sweet, slightly tangy, the apple and celery work very wel..."
"What a wonderfully flavored way to do salmon, WOW. I did make an attempt to trim the 15.2 g of sat fat; in place of that 1/2 cup of butter I used 1/4 cup of canola oil and a small drizzle of butter extract. Even DH, who is extremely "flavor challenged" loved this. This is going into my All Time Fave's cookbook. Simply wonderful :D."
"How simple and yummy can you get! I used Splenda for the sugar and pureed in the food pro as hubby likes smooth sauces. The sauce was great on pork loin slices tonight and I can't wait to get ice cream tomorrow and try that out. :D"
"I made a smaller 1/2 sized meatloaf last evening skipping the ketchup topping. It was a very good winter comfort meal with mashed spuds and peas mixed with mushrooms. The loaf has a good hearty flavor base and DH said "the bacon doesn't hurt any", lol. This is quite likely to be made here again. Thanks Lynn :D"
"Can we say tropical heaven? I didn't have 1/2 and 1/2 but I did (past tense) have some whipping cream hanging out in the fridge that jumped up and volunteered for the job. The mango came out in a perfectly smooth puree in the food processor and made a wonderfully mango flavored, creamy ice cream that was a real hit with the folks here. This is pur..."
"Really lovely. At this posting it's January on the snow bound Canadian prairie and fresh citrus coast a large fortune at out local store in this tiny town. SO, I used 1/2 cup of bottled lime juice, 1/4 a cup of bottled lemon juice as a base. Put club soda in a glass and added the juice and Splenda (yes, Splenda) till I liked the taste, added some ..."
"What a treat. I made this with sugar free ice cream and no sugar added syrup to make it diabetic usable. The maple flavor comes through beautifully and it's thick but not too thick to use a straw. Congratulations to this young chef."
