    Reviewed Wendy's Rhubarb Stir Cake

"Nice cake with lots of rhubarb! I cut the sugar (because I don't like things too sweet), used half whole wheat flour and substituted greek yogurt for the sour cream and it was still nice and moist and plenty sweet. The batter was a little thick, but I think you need that to soak up the juices from the rhubarb. I also used raw sugar for extra crunch..."

    Reviewed Cheddar Asparagus Soup

"I love this soup! I didn't have any cheddar on hand and I wanted to lighten it up a bit so I cut the butter to 1/3 the amount and I substituted some velveeta light and Laughing Cow queso alfresco and chipotle for the cheddar. Also I replaced about 1/3 of the broth with milk for a creamier texture. I found the taste pure bliss."

    About Me

I started cooking when I was little. By 7, I was baking cookies and things, and as a teenager my "job" was to do the grocery shopping and cooking for our family of 5. I've always loved cooking and am a total foodie. To me, to eat is to live. To live is to eat. I believe in eating healthy, exercising, and living life to its fullest. In "real life" I'm a usability engineer. Cooking is one of the ways I like to express my creativity.

    Favorite Foods

Anything Mexican or Mediterranean! Pizza (especially out-of-the-ordinary pizza), salads, breads, pastas, and almost all vegies. I also love baked goods--breads, scones, cookies.
