"Make this bread it is SO great! I changed it a little bit: I did 1/2 cup apple sauce in place of 1/2 of the oil, I used 1 cups quick oats and 2 cups whole wheat flour, just 2 cups of sugar, and I added pecans- I think it's wonderful like this- I would definitely add pecans if I were you. they really add a lot of flavor to it."

"These were really good- but they were a little sweet. If I made them again I would definitely add some cinnamon to them and probably only half a cup of white sugar. Other than that these cookies were so good."

"I really liked these- I took another users advise and used 1/2 a cup yogurt- and 1/4 cup butter instead of the shortening- I also added pecans instead of walnuts- and I'm SO happy I did- they really add a lot of flavor."

"These cookies were really good! They were a little on the sweet side though- I added chocolate chips- and I wouldn't recommend it- simply because it makes even sweeter! But it was a great way to use up my left=over pumpkin- and my roommates really liked them!"

"These were good- but not great. If I made them again I would add more vanilla and do more butter and less shortening- I actually got a stomach ache too. They are very filling."
