"Excellent cookies, Peach! I've made these twice now and like it was suggested below, I used butter in place of the shortening. This past time I left the cookie dough in the fridge overnight and rolled into balls on the baking sheet (dough was a bit stiffer. The cookies were definitely puffier this time. Delish!"

"I made this for a potluck last night and had SO MANY people tell me these were the best brownies they ever had. I did make a few changes: substituted unsweetened applesauce for the oil and decreased the amount of sugar to 1 cup. Then I frosted with Kittencal's Chocolate Buttercream Frosting/Icing (dark. Also, I only had about 1 tsp vanilla extrac..."

"This wasn't too bad. I used fresh tomatoes fried with with oregano and some basil. The only thing I found was that the tofu was still a litle flavourless, even after baking. What I may do next time is fry the tofu with some salad dressing or add a shake or two of soya sauce. Thanks for sharing!"

"This recipe definitely deserves 5 stars! I made cupcakes instead and took them to work only to receive raving reviews. One lady said it's better than anything she could get store-bought. Some modifications I made after reading previous reviews: 1 applesauce instead of oil, 2 pecans instead of walnuts, 3 decreased to 1 cup of sugar 4 baked 18-2..."

"Very tasty! I used pecans instead of walnuts because that is all I had in my house. Also, I had 3 ripe bananas but it only came to a little over 1 cup. I ended up running to the store to buy another banana (not ripe and the flavour in the cake turned out fine!"

"These cupcakes were delicious - very moist and the cream cheese in the centre was a nice touch to it! Only change I would make would be to leave out the topping. Maybe I added too much (but then again, it did make a lot but it didn't look the prettiest when it came out of the oven and I found there was already plenty of sugar in it so that it c..."

"This is so yummy! I made it and my whole family loves it...even my dad who denies liking chocolate...hee hee. It is a bit sweet so I would probably cut out a bit of the sugar next time I make it. It was also really sticky so we had to eat it with forks...kind of like a cake. But it still deserves 5 stars."
