    About Me

    I am a domestic engineer, otherwise known as 'Aww Mom'. :) I am Korean by blood but born and raised in the USA. My husband is All American white but red after sun. :) I love to cook because I love the different flavors and attitudes of food. I love new recipes. My family plays the ever patient guinea pigs. Our two year old is the seasoned taste tester. She always examines, touches, and smells the food before she even considers tasting it. My pet peeve is raw meat. I admit it. I wear disposable examine gloves every time I handle any raw meat or anything raw meat has touched. I wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes after and any dishes or cookware has to be sanitized in the dishwasher. My worst nightmare would be drowning in a vat of raw meat.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite dish to cook is the beef marinate I learned from my mother. It is my most requested dish by friends and family. My mother never writes anything down or measures anything. I have inherited a lot of her taste for foods (I hope). I make it without a recipe or measuring utensils. My favorite restaurants tend to be those holes in the wall that you find while on a road trip that have you thinking I wonder if I'll regret this...I do miss quite a few from places I've lived. I have a passion for ribs, authentic asian cuisine, crab legs, Cecil Whitakers Pizza, and many others.
