    "This recipe is based on a dish from LA restaurant Il Sole. It sounds very rich but actually a healthier dish. The recipe calls for chicken breasts but I cut the breasts to medallions for easier cooking and serving. The prep work can be done ahead of time fairly easily."

    About Me

    I have always loved to cook or bake rather. From a young age, my grandmother taught me how to cook. She made everything from scratch, I mean everything, even Syrup for pancakes. Like my grandmother, I just cook and don't write down my recipes and measurements. I just cook and add things until it tastes and looks right. My grandma's recipe cards have a lot of "a little of this or a splash of that" on them.  So I decided to set up recipes online so I have to stop and pay attention to my cooking so that I can share with others and duplicate recipes. 

    I like to make traditional dishes, however, I make slight substitutions to the recipes to make them more healthy or to add nutrition.
