I have a wonderful husband of 17 years, and 3 growing hormonal boys that love to eat. My boys play baseball all but six weeks out of the year, so sometimes it is hard to find the time to cook the way that I would like to. I love to find and bake new recipes over the holidays and I'm always searching for the new "favorite" pound cake every year. I also enjoy finding new recipes that are healthy but simply delicious!
Every holiday, I bake the teachers something and take it to them. This is my way of showing them that I appreciate them, and just to make their day enjoyable. They have gotten to where they anticipate the next goody I bring them. I always find something neat and never repeat the same thing.... And I always make up a batch of the oreo fudge with the seasonal oreos and put them in the decorative party bags and pass them around my frequent stops....bank, nail salon, McDonald's, etc. I love bringing smiles to their faces.
Chicken, vegetables, soups and crock items, Baked goods!
