"Great recipe! We made these without the dried fruit and they were still fantastic. Thanks for a great, easy recipe - this is going to be our basic scone recipe from now on!"

"Delicious rolls! I made them smaller, so got a couple of dozen out of this recipe. Ended up having to use a bit more flour as I was kneading. Other than that, I stuck to the recipe - it was fairly easy for me, and I'm something of a novice when it comes to breads. Thanks for a great recipe!"

"This was delicious! My crockpot has a nice black ceramic insert which you can take out to serve, so it wasn't as unattractive a dish as I had feared it might be! I used cheddar, and chicken sausages (chili and coriander flavoured chopped up. Instead of regular onion I used 4-5 chopped spring onions. I spread dijon mustard on half the slices of (w..."

"Great recipe. I would just add that I wasn't sure (in spite of living in New Zealand whether or not to squash the cookies down. They didn't look like they were going to spread on their own after a few minutes in the oven, so I squashed them down with a fork. Just thought I should say that, in case people don't know what they're supposed to loo..."

"I've made this several times now, both with and without the garlic - I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but the mushroom soup does indeed make a wonderful gravy. I add freshly-ground black pepper to the mix, and I think it enhances the flavour. This evening I made this with cream of tomato soup instead of mushroom, as I didn't have the latter - it ..."

"Yummy recipe! I adapted it for the crockpot, chucking it in on high for an hour after browning the shanks and onions, then turning down to low for another 7-8 hours. Didn't have bacon so used smoked paprika instead. Also added 1/2 t of garlic powder.Next time I'll take the sauce out of the crockpot a bit early and thicken it on the stovetop...."

"Yum - took these along to a mother's group and they received rave reviews! Only thing I'd say is perhaps use unsalted butter as there was a slightly salty flavour in mine (mind you, that might have balanced the sweetness of the chocolate chips, so don't take my word for it!. Thumbs up - this recipe is a keeper!"
