My name is Carmen and I like to cook!
Scratch that... I love it!
Ever since I was a child, traveling the world, and learning how to cook italian and cajun food from my father at six years old, I discovered a passion that has stuck with me. Now a commuting university girl, I split dinner duty with my mother and sister and have to keep it interesting when I cook 3 times a week! I love to cook Italian, French, Cajun, Spanish, Hungarian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Russian, and Mexican foods, but my list is ever expanding! I love finding new recipes to share with my family and keep them wanting more! The biggest joys I get sometimes are the smiles on the faces of the folks that eat my food and want another bowl!
I'm a big fan of all kinds of foods, but here are my faves!
Boef Bourguinion
Jumbalaya
Chicken and Beef Paprikash
Chicken Quesadillas
Mandarin Orange Chicken
Beer Battered Fried Chicken Salad (Only from Carolina Ale House, it's the best in the state, I swear by it and I'm not a salad girl!)
