    About Me

I am a mother of two wonderful boys! We live in a small rural community in Indiana that we love. I love cooking, especially entertaining for family and friends. I collect cookbooks and found RecipeZaar by accident online looking for recipes. I was hooked immediately! I tell all of my family and friends about this awesome site. I cannot understand picky eaters or those who won't try something new??? My husband and I enjoy cooking together and trying new recipes.

    Favorite Foods

I love Italian food, but any food will do. I love cooking appetizers, I don't know why, but they are so fun and tasty. Sometimes we will have a party and only serve tappas - what fun! Our favorite food tradition is Christmas dinner. We try something new each year rotating between beef, pork, turkey, chicken, etc. We make a 4-5 course meal and set out the good dishes. The only rules are: 1)You have to wear your Christmas pajamas and 2)NO MAKEUP! We have such a good time cooking together with my husband's family who comes over; it is a great day!
