I live in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and have always enjoyed cooking. I tend to categorize myself as an experimental cook. While I'm no Ferran Adria I do like to combine flavors. I have a strange ability with sauces, dressings, soups and dips which I cannot explain. This may not be the healthiest category of food to excel in at least I'm good at something.
I do wish my friends would try new things more often, it's not like I've ever made them sick... often.
Like all men I love the grill. I truly enjoy spicy and ethnic foods and have a true weakness for seafood. I've had the pleasure of sampling many ethnic dishes in their country of origin as a result of a love for travel and have added many flavors to my pantry.
