    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

Vegetarian, except for salmon for some reason, girlfriend to 1/2 Korean boy, learning to cook Korean food from his mother, who is now grandmother to our first child- a baby boy we call POOKIE. I have a German grossmutter I would like to learn more recipes from, but no blood sausage!

    Favorite Foods

Fancy cheeses (Brie, Stilton, etc.), baguettes dipped in fresh chopped garlic and extra virgin olive oil, good red wine, OLIVES, ripe tomatoes. As far as things that require cooking: Soups, enchiladas, artichoke dip, homemade pasta sauce, homemade polenta, Irish Soda Bread, fried seaweed (dulse) and some simple Korean recipes I have learned in the past year. Black Teas, Lapsang Soushong and Japanese Twig in particular. And when I go out to eat, my favorite food is Thai- Tom Yam Mushroom soup and a good red curry. Indian food is a close second. Spicy hot mexican chocolate- mmm...
