Shared Recipe Blue's Take on Wendy's Chili
Aug 4, 2012 on Food.com
I love to cook and I can't use a recipe without tweaking it to make it my own. I doubt that is uncommon on a site such as this.
I liver in a high desert area of the Wester US. Summer is hot during the day but cool at night and winters are anywhere from mild to down right cold. It's unpredictable but interesting. It's snowed on Memorial Day (more then once) and been 65 dergrees on New Years. Snowfall averages less then 8 inches but we get the occasional storm that can dump several feet
I've worked on the font lines, as it were, of the medical field for over 20 years. Cookib is a good way to relax and do something for one's self after a stressful day and a great way to celebrate the good stuff.
I don't like to travel much so I send my palate on culinary adventures via my kitchen. I'm not on facebook or anything because my life is pretty routine (I like it that way) and I don't have much exciting to share, other than recipes of course.

"This is a recipe for Wendy's chili that I've adjusted to make it how I like it. It's the same consistancy as Wendy's but I add a few more flavors and use less beans. I'd love to see what you all out there think of it if you try it. My friends and family all really like it but they might be afraid I'd poison 'em if they said otherwise. Only kidding...."
