"This was good but not great. I don't think I'll make it again. I made it for my 3 roommates and no one raves about it."

"I've grown up loving this! A lot of times we even season the turkey at Thanksgiving this way. Sometimes the onions do not give off a lot of juice so I'll add a can of chicken broth midway through cooking. It does make it very juicy and tender. The leftovers make great sandwiches and quesadillas."

"This is a great cake! I made this for my friend's birthday since she had given up chocolate. Everyone really enjoyed it. I followed the recipe exactly. The name is definitely a conversation starter!"

"We've been making this for years, and it's one of our favorites. It's a good recipe to make for company. For some reason, we don't like the thyme with it so we leave it out. I have added crumbles bacon, and it gives it a lot of extra flavor."

"The sauce tasted really good when I was cooking it. However, when i combined it with pasta, chicken, and roasted veggies, the flavor got lost. It was good, but if I'm going to eat something really unhealthy, I want to love every bite."

"This is my jambalaya recipe except I cut the peppers in half. I find that it's perfect- spicy but still enjoyable. If you can, definitely use file because it adds a lot. I also use a mixture of andouille sausage and shredded chicken. Tasso is hard to find outside of Louisiana, but if I had some, I would definitely use it for this recipe. For the r..."

"My husband's favorite- he often asks me to make his "comfort food" as he calls it. Instead of cream, I use half and half or even 2% milk if that's all I had on hand, and both work well. Also, I only use 1 TBSP of butter in the filling and didn't miss it. I sautee the onions before adding them to the filling so that they're not as crunchy or use g..."

"This recipe is a favorite. I probably make it 7 or 8 times a year. I slice an onion and put it at the bottom of the slow cooker and add 7-8 pods of garlic. I season the roast with black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Tony Chachere's Herbs and Spices mix. I have found that the darker the beer, the better the flavor. Our favorite to use is Guiness. Als..."

"This was just ok. I followed the recipe exactly, but it wasn't amazing. My expectations might have been a little high from seeing all of the great reviews. My husband suggested adding chopped up avacados and seasoning it a little more. I might try it again and take his suggestions."

"This is one of our favorite desserts that I've used for a couple years. My husband loves it! If I'm really pressed for time, I sometimes buy an oreo cookie pie crust instead of making it. I've also used cookies and cream ice cream instead of vanilla, and it was awesome. I like a little chocolate in there. It's a very versatile dessert and it super..."
