    About Me

    I have enjoyed cooking since I was young. I like trying recipes from different cultures and love to learn from experienced cooks. My favorite cookbook is Paul Prudhomme's "Louisiana Kitchen". My family has made his recipe: "Chicken Big Mamou on Pasta" our traditional Christmas dinner for the past ten years. You may want to reduce the hot spices by half unless you're taste buds are already gone.

    Favorite Foods

    I love cajun food because it comes out so tasty. It seems easy to cook to me and I can get consistent results. I had a chance to eat at Paul Prudhomme's restaurant "K-Paul's" in New Orleans this past summer and the food was excellent. If you would like to try cajun cooking, he has videos that teach you some important skills and also very fun to watch.
