    About Me

    I have retired to stay at home and take care of my husband, garden, and cook. Cooking is a true hobby for now and love every minute of it. Soon I will drag out all my recipes I grew up with in the South.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite foods are everything the health books tell you to stay away from. Originally I am from the south. So you can imagine. I get into a mood for healthy foods, then backslide into chicken fried steak and gravy. I mostly cook my husband's favorite foods, he is Italian.
    But I have a desire to find out how early western settlers cooked. There are many foods I could in no way tell you how to cook, for example; bread, wheat from the field to oven. (get my meaning?) How did the women from biblical times cook? No store to go to.
