I live near Minneapolis, Minnesota and originally am from Iowa. I just celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary and have three spunky daughters who keep me busy.
I was introduced to this sight by a fellow teacher and friend and I love it. I am one of those people who has an entire cupboard in my kitchen devoted to cookbook, but I must say I am finding myself going to recipezaar more and more!
I am a teacher and I hope to use some time this summer to add more of my favorite recipes to my cookbook.
I am a foodie at heart and really like exploring different foods. My favorites in the spring are rhubarb, asparagus, grilled anything and fresh berries.
In the summer I love gathering fresh produce from the garden or farmer's market in my town.
The fall is my favorite time of year and apples from a local orchard are always fun to gather and use in recipes.
The winter months have Thanksgiving and Christmas traditions such as creamed onions, brined turkey, and our favorite Christmas cookies and Date pudding with homemade whipped cream.
