"Was looking for a hearty and good oyster stew for my VERY picky husband and this one fit the bill. At first the amount of ingrediants was a little surprising, but went together easy and we both loved it and I am NOT a seafood lover. I did add potatoes as suggested in another review & it was great."

"With my Diabetic Mom visiting for the holidays I was looking for a healther version of her FAVORITE holiday dish, "Candied Sweet Potatoes" and this was PERFECT. Everyone loved it, including Mom and even those who don't like the sweeter version. It was easy and a big hit, it'll be a regular at our home. Mom even took the recipe home with her."

"This was soooo easy and enjoyed by all; it's a great appetizer and easy to take along in a mini crock-pot; I brought toothpicks on the side for ease in serving, even the kids enjoyed it."

"When my DH looked at the ingrediants he was not impressed; however, at our Christmas Dinner this had to be the hit of the evening. Even my DSL who HATES anything with nuts, LOVED this and raved about it, add to that it's appearance was so pretty and you have a hit. It does make a HUGE amount so we made two balls and froze one; don't know how it ..."

"Really enjoyed this, added left over green beans and celery. It was so easy doing it in the crock pot and LOVED the creamy texture. A real hit with the whole family and a nice change from your regular chicken soup, we froze the left overs and will be anxious to see how that works. Thanks so much for posting."

"Thanks Di for a simple, but great tasting recipe, I only made a couple of changes, as I'm always concerned over DH's cholesterol used egg substitute and since there's only two of us halfed the recipe and used mini-quiche pans. It still made 4 personal size quiches and I was able to freeze two of them for later. Will definatly do this again and n..."

"Wonderful is all I can say. Had this last night and my husband couldn't find enough good to say about it. Easy to make too, served it on a hard roll, salad on the side and couldn't be better. I didn't change a thing. Thanks Rita for a quick, easy and deliscious recipe, this will be a mainstay in my recipe file."
