"Was looking for a hearty and good oyster stew for my VERY picky husband and this one fit the bill. At first the amount of ingrediants was a little surprising, but went together easy and we both loved it and I am NOT a seafood lover. I did add potatoes as suggested in another review & it was great."

A real hit with the whole family and a nice change from your regular chicken soup, we froze the left overs and will be anxious to see how that works. Thanks so much for posting."

"Thanks Di for a simple, but great tasting recipe, I only made a couple of changes, as I'm always concerned over DH's cholesterol used egg substitute and since there's only two of us halfed the recipe and used mini-quiche pans.
