I am a mostly stay at home mom of four boys. Recently one of my children was diagnosed with fairly severe allergies to eggs, peanuts, fish, and soy. Some of my recipes will be allergy-friendly, some will not!
I love cooking and baking, and have learned so much in the last seven years. Before I was married a 'dinner' for me would be a box of Betty Crocker potatoes cooked on the stove sprinkled with some seasoned bread crumbs. Or my 'famous' Noodles and sauce, which consisted of plain tomato sauce with any kind of pasta. Sometimes I'd get crazy and toss on some mozzarella cheese. My family used to jokingly buy me CASES of tomato sauce because I ate it so much!
Now I love baking bread from scratch, coming up with new combinations of flavors, improving on my old favorites, and creating meals that my family will enjoy.
Pasta!!! I love pasta. I could eat pasta for every meal, but I don't anymore. I love winey red meat sauces and making huge juicy meatballs.
I make a fairly good roast beef dinner, and can make scratch egg noodles for chicken noodle soup that are so yummy.
My favorite restaurant is Mirror of Korea in St. Paul, MN. I haven't eaten there in 4 years, and I miss it so much!
