Reviewed Easy Cranberry and Apple Cake

"Outstanding........and the very first recipe from her new book "How Easy Is That"? that I made. Ina clearly comes through time after time. It was worth the 2+ hours I stood in line to greet her once again. And, both she and Barbara remembered me from the last book signing in San Francisco. Ina rocks.............."

    Reviewed Apple Turnovers

"Outstanding and so easy to prepare. I've made this many, many times, and have used multiple fillings, in addition to Ina's original apple and cherry recipe. Perfection everytime. I also dress them up a little with a nice icing drizzled across the top.

    Reviewed Pecan Squares
     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By "Boscoe The Cookie Doctor"

"Absolutely delicious every time I make them, which by the way, is quite frequently. I also drizzle chocolate in a decorative pattern over the squares, as opposed to dipping one end, so that the chocolate is shared more generously with the entire bar. Another winner for sure."

"Superb. Every time I make these, they get rave reviews. I've gotten creative and added in some cranberries, pure white chocolate chips and other nuts. Each version comes out perfectly. "

     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By "Boscoe The Cookie Doctor"

"Absolutely perfect. I've made and love Ina's Beef Bourguignon many times, and found the wine in this stew worked magic with both the beef and all of the vegetables. My Irish friends raved about this as well!"

    Reviewed Baked Shrimp Scampi
     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By "Boscoe The Cookie Doctor"

"I love Ina's classic take on Shrimp Scampi, but this version is absolutely perfect if you are entertaining or have to hold dinner for late guests. Unlike the original version, where you have to serve the scampi right after you prepare it, this version gives you extra time and flexibility. My friends and family love it. "

    Reviewed Sour Cream Coffee Cake

"I bake a great deal of cakes, and have been dying to try this out. Like others here, I decided to use a bundt pan and reverse the streusel application. It came out perfectly. Also, after making it with the Maple Glaze, I decided to make it a few more times and used other flavored icings.......Chambord, Grand Marnier and Pure Almond Extract. Al ..."

    Reviewed Coq Au Vin

"As usual, Ina has a knack for taking the French classics and simplifying them, while adding her own signature touches. This earthy, hearty dish is wonderful for dinner, and perfect for entertaining as well. I've made this several times, and it comes out perfect every time. "

    Reviewed Provencal French Beans
     |  (2 people found this helpful) |  By "Boscoe The Cookie Doctor"

"I made this dish using canned white beans and substituted 2 cups of chicken stock for the broth. It was classic French cuisine and absolutely delicious. "

    Reviewed Stuffed Cabbage

"I had made these last week, and was thrilled to see this show was on this morning. Watching Ina make the cabbage rolls brought back the incredible mouth watering moment we bit into these delicious rolls. These were spot on and brought back child hood memories of having these at a friend's home for dinner one night. I never forgot how earthy and f ..."
