    About Me

I live in Nova Scotia Canada. I work in a fertilizer blend plant. I am quite active physically, I bicycle, walk, backpack, swim, camp etc. My favorite cookbook is one that has been passed down through the generations in my family. The entire thing is hand written and amended and annotated by all who have used it. I would not part with this Family treasure trove of recipes if my life depended on it! I am passionate about Family, Friends and food in that order. And am just NUTS for my lovely Wife Emilia! Pet peeve: Politicians.
    'Nuff said 'bout that!

    Favorite Foods

Meatloaf and mashed potatoes is the first on the list. My meatloaf of course! I am a fan of all types of cooking but I do like German food occasionally. And Italian is also very nice for a change. But I am mostly a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy. I am most famous for my breads(any kind you wish) and rolls and biscuits(to DIE for!). I owe all of this to my dear departed Mother. She , bless her heart, made certain that her boy knew how to cook. Thank you Mother. Favorite restaurant? The PertroCanada Restaurant in Glenholme Nova Scotia. An intimate little place, that serves up "home cooking" the way it's supposed to be done!
