"This is the best salmon I have EVER had! My husband (who hates salmon likes this recipe more than shepherd's pie (his absolute favorite dish. That is a huge accomplishment. "This is a great recipe! I looked at others but they called for corn syrup (which I NEVER use, or evaporated milk (I didn't have any on hand. I already had everything I needed for this recipe and it was so easy to make that my 11 year-old DD made it on her own. We will definitely make this again!"

"I only used the shortcake part of the recipe, but they turned out excellent! The only change I made was to used half whole wheat and half all-purpose flour to make them a little healthier. "I thought this was a little bland, and I also had a problem with it sticking to the bottom of the pan despite using oil. I dumped in a whole bunch more spices and about a cup of water to keep it from sticking to the pan and that turned out pretty tasty. "I made this with garnet yams instead of potatoes and loved it. The kids and husband weren't too fond of it though. I thought it was naturally sweet and very filling. I think it would make a good breakfast porridge."
