"Be careful when adding your boullion cube. Salt and acid can cause beans not to cook. So I just added the boullion cube at the end to be safe. Otherwise great simple recipe. I also used flax egg replacer. Mostly because I was in a hurry and did not want to wait for the ingredienets to cool down enough for me to add the eggs.
Thanks"

"i know it is bad form to review a recipe before you have eaten it, but i just have too. So far I am just at the sauce stage, and boy is it amazing. My fave recipes are always the ones that are a good base, so it can be altered as needed. My house smells divine. I used mace and garam masala instead of cinnamom. So delicious. The other great thing i..."

"1. Recipe is idiot proof. Measurements don't have to be exact
2. I like a lot of ginger, so I steep ginger tea bags in the water then proceed.
3. Using mint tea bag instead of fresh mint is soooo convenient.
4. I like 4 parts water to 1 part syrup is my favorite.
5. I also use seltzer water.
6. LOVE THIS!!!!"

"Excellent recipe. Great way to introduce curry to kids. Not nearly enough curry for me. (I swear I was an Indian in a former life. I just added more curry to mine. I used tofu instead of verge burger. I made shrimp for hubs. Quick and excellent recipe. I only measured the curry. I eyeballed everything else. Thanx!"

"I am gonna give this a whirl in the AM. My oldest doesn't like chocolate, and I made microwave brownie pudding cake tonight. And to my vegan friends. Bisquick is not vegan. It has dairy, and eggs in it. The reduce fat Bisquick has been said to be vegan but double check. (Sometimes companies change formulations. However, Veganista's sub is a perfe..."

"Yes! Yes! I have made a microwave cake before but not nearly this good. I veganized it by simply using almond milk for regular, and turbinado sugar for all the sugar. (It is the perfect brown sugar sub. I added two tablespoons of oil, just 'cause. I also poured 2/3 cup almond milk over the topping before adding the water. The first time I made it..."

"This was pretty good. I made the recipe as written except omitted the nuts and raisin just because I had none. I think next time I will blend the oats in the food processor to make it powdery. Other than my texture issue, these had great flavor."

"I followed the recipe exactly but left out the chips and nut.Just added m&m's to the top, since that is what my kids had requested. The odd thing about this recipe is that it is a really thick batter, but it rose so much. Next time, I may use a small egg, or an egg substitute. However I do plan to try this with half oatmeal for flour, raisins ..."
