My favorite way to find recipes is by typing in the ingredient I have at hand. I also like to be the first to review a recipe in hopes that it will help others. I'm not afraid to try one unreviewed... however if my search turns up 5 thousand recipes or so I have been known to hit the "Rating" button to slim down my choices :)
I try to cook healthy foods with little sugar and butter. I also really like a lot of texture to my food. I prefer thick sauces and creamy soups. I love red wine so I'm often trying to fine ways to cook that extra glass or two that has become a bit too oxidized to drink. I occasionally love a cup of strong, creamy, gourmet coffee. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors. I love Japanese, Indian, and French foods best. If I had to pick one meat, I'd pick pork. I'd love more tasty ways to eat fish and less ways to eat tasty cheese!
