"I confess that I cheated this recipe.: I had grilled some salmon and had a leetle left over, so used that for the smoked salmon (well, it WAS smoked.LOL A delight of a Sunday breakfast!!! "Interesting recipe. I loved the idea of adding the chives, but I experimented with a little of the mixture, adding the hot water. Not for me, since I like chunky pimento cheese.Spread on Pumpernickel bread roll with garden-fresh butter lettuce. Made for Chives in May event in French Forum."

"A real treasure of a salad!!! Ingredients are usually within my kitchen reach (discounting the LIME chips, but easy substitute. I forgot to add the cheddar until after the shots were taken and used some crunched Fritos and sliced stuffed olives for the garnish.
