    Reviewed Peanut Butter Cup Bars

"There were 7 of us tasting this dessert tonight. Five people loved it. One didn't like the crust. One thought it was okay, but not great. If possible I would have given it a rating of 4 1/2 but more people loved it here than those who didn't. Made for P.A.R.T.Y. 2011."

    Reviewed Caramel Apple Streusel (Microwave)

"There were two of us who tasted this and made determination. My 16 yr old DGD loved it. I thought it was a bit tart which surprised me with both caramel sauce and sugar in it. I would have liked it better if it had more of a apple crisp style topping I think. All in all it is good. Made for P.A.R.T.Y. 2011."

    Reviewed Tasty Salisbury Steak

"This was okay, but not great. It was a bit too dry for my taste. I also think Salisbury steak taste better with the onions chopped and placed inside the patties. Made for P.A.R.T.Y 2011."

    Reviewed Fried Rice

"This is a very good and hearty fried rice. This recipe is very different than any other Fried Rice recipe I have ever made before because of the nice amount of chicken in it. Usually I make Fried Rice with a little bacon or ham...but wow...this is not only flavorful but you can make it as a complete entree'. That's what I did and my DH and I bot..."

Reviewed Yummy Crock Pot Shredded Chicken for Tacos!

"This was very good. i usually only make my shredded chicken for tacos with only salsa, so this was really different for me. It is a bit hotter with the added spices but still very tasty and I will look forward to enjoying the leftover meat on top of a salad tomorrow for lunch. Made for P.A.R.T.Y. 2011."

Reviewed Garden Vegetables and Sirloin Soup

"This is a wonderful hearty soup. I was unable to find quinoa in any of the grocery stores around here. I read about quinoa here at Food.com that stated that this grain had the appearance and texture of rice. So I substituted rice for the quinoa in the soup. My DH really enjoyed this soup and said he would like me to make it again. I think to k..."

    About Me

I've returned and am hoping for another long and happy stay.  Can't wait to play some cooking games again.

    Favorite Foods

Well my old favorites still apply but where we live now leaves our choice of restaurants limited a lot.  We now live in a very small town of about 5000 people so if we want to eat at any of our favorite restaurants we have to drive 50-60 miles.  Our favorite places to eat in and near our home is the chain called 'Pizza Ranch'.  Pizza Ranch makes ok pizza 'in my opinion' but fabulous broasted chicken.  I told DH he can go as often as he wants for the pizza, as long as I can have the chicken!
