    About Me

    I'm a military spouse, and prior active-duty. Some day I plan to go to law school, but for now I'm a stay-at-home mom. My husband says I should do something with cooking. We'll see..

    My mom cooked dinner every night, and I do the same. So much education and togetherness happens at the dinner table. That's where family values start, in my opinion.

    My favorite cookbook is The Joy of Cooking. It's got all the basics and then some. Every cook should have a copy :)

    Favorite Foods

    I like most anything, especially cuisine from India. That's my all-time favorite!

    I'm not famous for any particular dish, but my friends do call me a "gourmet" because I cook each night (and usually a different recipe). Gosh, I didn't realize I was in the minority!
