My family and I have recently moved back to England after 7 years in North Cyprus! I love to bake cakes, muffins and brownies but also am slowly learning to cook proper food, with the help of you guys here, of course!
Where we live there are plenty of farm shops, and I plan to use seasonal produce from these shops to create mouthwatering delights for my husband and two beautiful boys.
Chef-wise, I love Rachael Ray, Martha Stewart, Tyler Florence, Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson, and sometimes a bit of Delia Smith and Anthony Worral-Thompson.
I'm really looking forward to making some new friends on here, as well as learning how to prepare tasty dishes for my husband, Berat, and our two sons!
Anything Turkish, Italian, Indian or Chinese!
Turkish food is NOT just about kebabs, there are tons of other delicious dishes to be tried which I'll try and share with you guys, including Fasulye (Bean Casserole) and Dolma (Stuffed Vine Leaves) as well as the famous 'meze' dishes which are great if you like to pick (like me!).
Italian food is another huge passion of mine, and pasta is probably my favourite food as it's so versatile and I never get bored of it! Pizza is great too, but I'm very particular about my pizza bases, so I usually make my own.
As for the Indian and Chinese, they are explosions of flavour, my favourite dishes being Korma and Jalfrezi for Indian and Duck and pancakes and crispy chilli beef for Chinese!
I guess I'm most famous for my muffins, and most recently my lemon cake, which is moist beyond belief! I'm also pretty good at making Shepherds Pie and lasagne!

When boiling the caramel, try setting the time..."
