I'm am an insurance adjuster for Ford and I cook for therapy. We don't have any children, but we have 2 furbabies. I love cookbooks cause there is nothing better than new ideas. My husband and I are trying to eat healthier, but food has to taste good or we won't touch it. I have taken many of our favorite recipes and "tweaked" them for a healthier lifestyle. I like to do a big cooking on the weekend and stock our freezer, but I also love the quick and healthy recipes that I can throw together in a flash. We also have a Farmer's market year round, and I love going to find a new fruit/veggie and bringing it home to test.
I can cook almost anything. I was a kitchen manager long ago for Joe's Crab Shack, so my husband loves how I can make seafood like a restaurant. I also have gotten really good at tasting something at a restaurant a few times and then whipping it up at home. But my favorite recipes are the ones that have been handed down.
