"These overshadowed the chicken sliders I made for them to go with. I did add more seasonings, as recommended. I also threw in some shredded carrots. Dipping sauce is definitely recommended. Recipe made a lot, and these were very filling. Don't know how they'll hold up for leftovers - next time I think I'll save 1/2 the batter for the next day..."

"I used an egg wash, as suggested by another reviewer, and added breadcrumbs to the flour. These were a big hit with DH and the whole family. This is a good recipe to use for thicker chops, as thin ones may dry out. Very tasty. Thanks for posting ;"

"I made this today and my husband can't stop raving about it. I didn't have enough canned broth, so I used caldo, but in different flavors such as rib, tomato, vegitable, and also some chicken broth. I did not add the sliced neck and giblet back into the finished product. There was plenty to have with dinner, and more to freeze. (I hope it free..."

"Great idea! This was so simple and turned out great! I threw some sliced garlic into the pot, and salted/peppered as some others have said to try. Also a good idea to add onion and 1/2 of a lemon. The whole house smelled like yummy smoked chicken. I used the chicken to make enchilladas (thanks to MizzNezz for that recipe for lunch today. Thanks ..."

"ok,for the recipe the way it is, I could only give 2-3 stars. It definately tastes "lowfat." I smothered the muffins in choco-peanut butter frosting, and they were better. The second time I used this recipe, I took the advice of some of the other reviewers, and used a spice cake mix instead of chocolate - adding vanilla and nutmeg, and 1/3 cup wat..."

"Fabulous easy weeknight meal!!! I've made this with leftover carnitas, and with shredded chicken. I've used lowfat cheese and lowfat sour cream each time. Once, I didn't have quite enough sour cream on hand and added a little milk to the enchilada sauce, and we liked it that way even better. This is a quick, tasty, versitile recipe. Thanks so much..."

"WOW...We all loved this one. All I had in my freezer was apple/rasberry juice, so I was worried, but it came out great. I also used liquid smoke instead of the mesquite powder. I jut drizzled some on each side before rubbing on the spices. We did not use any additional flavoring such as BBQ sauce - it just was not needed. We cooked just under..."

"DH really liked this one, and so did I! I made some changes. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I also used mainly reduced fat cheese. I added minced garlic to the cooked, drained meat. For the salsa, I used Salsa Verde. Next time I may add the black beans. Loved this one, Thanks Denise for posting!"

"These were fairly simple and tasty. It is important to line your pan with something, I used wax paper. I used "flaky layers" rolls. The instructions for this recipe were a little confusing. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to leave the rolls standing up. I layed them down in the pan and didn't worry about making a circle. DH and the kids real..."
