"I had bought some lemongrass at the Des Moines Farmers Market last year. The lady told me to clean it and freeze it, and it would keep (vacuum sealed). So I've been using it as needed and it still has a nice flavor. I only used maybe a tablespoon of sugar as I don't like sweet tea. But that was still enough to make the tea sweet. Ma..."

"I made this on the stove top and it was done in 2.5 hours. I thought the crush 1/2 Star Anise that I used added a very nice flavor. As it cooked I just kept turning the roast about every 30 minutes. I did think it was too salty, I will try using reduced sodium soy sauce and no salt at all in the future. "Perfect blend of spices which I put under the skin and then on the outside also. I used my rotisserie oven to roast the 3.75 pound chicken for 1 hour. The lemon squeezed over the chicken after it was cut, was what helps put this chicken right over the top, for taste and flavor!! Made for team Soup-A-Stars during ZWT9 2013"

"This was tasty, even if rum is not my favorite liquor. I made mine into ice coffee, as written. I'll add a little more sugar next time. I only used 1/2 teaspoon since I did not want it to sweet. Made for team Soup-A-Stars during ZWT9 2013"

    LinMarie says:

"Very easy to make. I used a fork for mixing step one. I thought my kitchen-aid would turn it into a ball of dough. The filling was also hand mixed, but I'll use the mixer next time for this step. Have you ever tried to hand mix almond paste into anything? I'd not recommend it. I put this into one of those doubled lined air insulated..."

"Cucumbers at their best, with a nice level of tang verses sweetness. I did not have fresh dill so used 1 teaspoon dry. It is really hard to wait the suggested 3 hours before serving. Made for team Soup-A-Stars during ZWT9 2013"

"This was very easy to make. I cooked it on High for 4 1/2 hours. The pork cooked perfect, with a hint of pink. It held it's shape when I carved it and was so very moist. I wonder if I can make a gravy out of the beautiful red juice in the bottom of the crock. I'll have to give it a try and see how it tastes. Made for team Soup-A-S..."

    LinMarie says:

"Quick, easy, simple and delicious! Easy recipe that brings out the sweet and delicate licorice flavor of the fennel. If you have not tried or think you don't like fennel, I suggest you try fennel. It is a lovely vegetable that I think is neglected here in the Midwest. I dislike licorice but the first time I tried fennel, well it was love ..."
